Terms of Service

Plain English summary: You may only scan apps you own or have written permission to test. We give you real security findings but cannot guarantee your app is 100% secure. Payments are subject to a 7-day refund policy. Governing law is India.

1. Acceptance

By using StackSecured (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. What the service does

StackSecured is an automated security scanning service. You submit a URL; we run security checks against that URL's publicly accessible endpoints and return a report of potential vulnerabilities, a security score, and recommended fixes. Scans are informational. They are not a substitute for a professional penetration test or security audit.

3. Authorized use — important

You may only scan apps you own or have explicit written permission to test. Unauthorized scanning of third-party systems is illegal in most jurisdictions and is strictly prohibited.

By submitting a URL, you confirm that you own the target application or have been given explicit authorization by the owner to run security testing. We reserve the right to terminate accounts and report suspected unauthorized scanning to relevant authorities.

4. Account registration

Free scans do not require an account. Creating an account (for paid plans) requires an email address. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You must not share your account or use someone else's account.

5. Payments & plans

Free Scan

No charge. You receive a security score and two findings with full fixes. No signup required.

Single Report

A one-time payment unlocks all findings for one specific scan. This is a one-time charge — not a subscription. Valid for the scan ID purchased only.

Annual Plan

A recurring annual subscription providing unlimited scans and automatic monitoring. Auto-renews annually. You may cancel at any time; no further charges occur after cancellation; no refund of the current period.

Refund policy

Single Report purchases are eligible for a full refund within 7 days of purchase. Email djdeepakjha@gmail.com with your order ID. Annual Plan refunds are available within 7 days of initial purchase only — not on renewals.

6. Prohibited uses

You may not use the Service to:

  • Scan any system you do not own or lack permission to test
  • Conduct denial-of-service attacks or overwhelm target servers
  • Attempt to extract data from or disrupt StackSecured's own infrastructure
  • Resell scan results or access to the Service without our written permission
  • Use automated scripts to submit bulk scans without prior approval
  • Scan systems containing classified, military, or critical infrastructure

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” StackSecured makes no warranty that scans are complete, accurate, or will identify every vulnerability in your application. A passing score does not guarantee your app is secure. Security is an ongoing practice, not a one-time event. We are not responsible for any security incidents that occur regardless of whether you have used our Service.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StackSecured's total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including data loss, loss of profits, or business interruption.

9. Intellectual property

StackSecured and all associated software, branding, and content are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. Your scan reports are yours to use and share. You may not reproduce or distribute StackSecured's methodology, scoring system, or engine outputs for commercial purposes without written permission.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms, particularly the authorized use requirement in Section 3. You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections 7, 8, and 11 survive termination.

11. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India. We encourage you to contact us first at djdeepakjha@gmail.com — most issues can be resolved without legal proceedings.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. We will notify account holders by email of material changes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
